HOSTS:
"Timber" Tina Scheer
welcomes you to the Great Maine Lumberjack Show!
Tina made her entrance into logging sports at
the early age of 8. She is the youngest member of world famous
logging sports 'Scheer' family. She grew up in a small town in
Northern
Wisconsin that is host to the World Championships. Along with three
other siblings, Log Rolling was her springboard into the sport
and
has literally taken her around the world. It was natural with
her love of the sport, she would eventually pick up an ax, a
saw and make logging sports her professional occupation. Tina worked
with her family in the logging sports entertainment business
for 15 years before deciding to branch out on her own.
Trenton was the perfect place because of Maines history in logging,
the many visitors & the wonderful people that make
this
their
home.
So
she
bought 35
acres
and began construction of the site!
During her career she traveled
to competitions or exhibitions in more than 45 United States, 7
Canadian Provinces,
South Africa, New Zealand, Germany & has produced Lumberjill
exhibitions in 5 Australian States on 10 different trips! She
won World Titles in Logging Sports in Australia & North America.
She has been featured in National Geographic, Sports Illustrated,
Women's Sport & Fitness, Paul Harvey Show, CBS's Challenge
of the Sexes & The Morning Show & MTV's Real World! She
recently won the Silver Medal competing at The Great Outdoor Games
on ESPN!
